Kirk KLP-260 Overview
The KLP-260 Universal Lens Plate with QD Socket from Kirk Enterprises is an Arca-type-compatible universal quick release plate designed for use with lenses without custom fitted plates.
The plate is constructed of black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, making it both scratch and corrosion resistant, and includes a reversible aluminum lip that may be mounted at either a 90 or 30° angle. Removing the lip will make the plate universally compatible with almost any lens foot, but with the loss of anti-twist capability.
The dual captive 1/4"-20 screws for the lens foot are constructed of stainless steel, making them equally as durable as the plate itself. The integrated QD Quick Disconnect system receiver is compatible with QD style straps, and the two included safety stop screws prevent accidental release with most Arca-type clamps. The plate also features two additional 1/4"-20 mounting holes for alternate mounting options.
